Born out of a profound passion for birth and a desire to advocate for birthing individuals and their families, I discovered my calling as a birth doula. That passion has grown into a fierce desire to provide evidence-based information, and unwavering encouragement to those navigating the miraculous process of pregnancy and child birth.
As a birth doula, I understand that every birthing journey is unique. I approach each client with empathy, actively listening to their needs and desires, and tailoring their support accordingly. Through extensive training and continuous education I have come to specialize in unmedicated, physiological labor, while also understanding that babies lead this show and occasionally interventions are necessary. I was born and raised in California but have called North Carolina home for the past 14 years. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors, drinking coffee, playing with my two kids, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and staying abreast on the latest research and techniques in the field of birth support. I actively participate in conferences, workshops, and peer support groups to further enhance my knowledge and skills, ensuring that I provide the highest level of care to my clients.
